BC Glenfield is a quality childcare centre with strong community links in Glenfield. We provide the best quality child care and education for all children in the greater Glenfield area entrusted into our care.

At ABC Glenfield we care for children from 3 months to 5 years. We have age appropriate areas with specific resources and environments that help to foster children’s growth and development. In our Infant and Toddler rooms we have a strong focus on primary care-giving. In our Preschool rooms self-help skills, independence and preparation for school are key focus areas. We have a strong link with our neighbouring primary school and this helps to bridge the gap between daycare and school. We have regular visits to Manuka Primary School library for our older children as well as attending assembly where we take our lunch and have a play on the junior playground. This is part of our Be School Ready initiative to prepare children for school.

We provide all children with a nurturing and challenging environment that is safe and clean. We respect and celebrate diversity and acknowledge that every child brings their own interests, experiences and strengths to the centre. In our child initiated programme we encourage children to learn alongside others in a stimulating environment that promotes exploration and play. Children are encouraged and empowered to reach their fullest potential and to become independent, active learners, developing physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual skills for life.
