Clendon Kauri Kids welcomes and values the diversity within our centre. We recognise the unique bicultural heritage founded in the Te Tiriti O’Waitangi and believe that our children have a right to experience the languages, music, art, and stories of Aotearoa.
Our programme is based on the interests of our children. We recognise each child as an individual and encourage curiosity and exploration as valued ways of learning.
Activities that the children enjoy include gymnastics and story time at the local library.
Our families are an important part of the centre as valued partners in their children’s growth and development. We encourage our families to spend time with us in the centre and share their cultural heritage.
Together we believe that quality learning is one of the foundation stones of the Early Childhood Curriculum (MOE, 1996).
All Kauri Kids childcare centres are committed to Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum, and offer 20 hours free ECE. WINZ subsidies may also be available for your family. Visit the WINZ website for more information.
