About us

East Coast Bays Kauri Kids is nestled in the heart of Browns Bay on the community green. We are a small centre that looks after the full- and part-time early childhood education of the local community.

As part of the East Coast Bays Leisure Centre, we offer pre-school gym classes and explore the green and community library. We offer affordable, flexible childcare options that meet all needs and lifestyles, and help give your child the very best start in life.

We offer places for 14 children, nine children over two years old and five children under two years old, and pride ourselves on the relationships we share with our families. We believe that the size of our centre and sense of community nurtures our bonds.

All Kauri Kids childcare centres are committed to Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum, and offer 20 hours free ECE. WINZ subsidies may also be available for your family. Visit the WINZ website for more information.

Monday – Friday: 7.30am-4.30pm

Weekends: Closed

Costs

Fees effective 22nd August 2016:

Under two year olds: $7.20/hour

Over two year olds: $6.60/hour

Parent on site: $6.90 for up to two hours, $4.70 for 1.5 hours
