About us

The Park Avenue Early Childhood Centre caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years. It is located at our Grafton Campus.

We are a cosmopolitan centre located at 28 Park Avenue in Grafton, close to The University of Auckland’s Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.

We have passionate and dedicated teachers who provide quality care and education for children aged three months to five years old.

Our friendly environment and open door policy grows strong partnerships between parents and teachers.

Our teaching practice is underpinned by the National Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki.

In 2015, a ‘Gold Healthy Heart Award’ honoured our excellence in providing children with healthy and nutritious meals - prepared and cooked on site and approved by the Heart Foundation.

We are committed to providing quality care and education for our tamariki through excellent staff-to-child ratios and through strategic planning and resourcing.

Our philosophy values the ‘whole child’ and acknowledges children as competent and confident learners. Our fees take into consideration the specific needs of University students and staff, as well as welcoming community children as spaces are available.

We are open from 7.45am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday.
