About us

rakei Playday Preschool is proudly operated as a non-profit, community based, early childhood service. We are licenced for 25 children aged 20 months to 5 years. At the heart of the Playday experience is building open, caring and responsive relationships. This enables our children to learn through playing, exploring, growing and making mistakes while streching their boundaires safely and having fun. It is a place where real partnership with families is valued.

Orakei Playday Preschool is located at 162 Coates Avenue, Orakei, Auckland where we share a large hall and outdoor area with the Orakei Presbyterian Church.

Orakei Playday Preschool session times are:

9am -12pm   for children 20 months to 5 yrs

9am- 1.30pm   for children aged over 2.5 yrs (optional)

Orakei Playday Preschool offers 20 hours ECE for 3 and 4 year old children, reducing the daily fee for this age group.
