The centre opens five days of the week including school holidays from 7am to 5pm.
Our centre is governed and managed by a Board made up of parents and teachers. It is staffed by three qualified early childhood teachers holding Bachelor's Degrees in early childhood education teaching from the University of Auckland. There is also a support network made up of two teacher trainees and volunteers.
Rosebank early childhood centre welcomes all children from different ethnic groups. At present, our roll includes children from different back grounds such as Niue, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Maori, Cook Islands, South Africa and Pakeha.
The medium of instructions include both Samoan, English, Maori as well as other languages of different respective children who attend the centre.
The centre is located within the Rosebank School grounds which makes it easier for parents to drop off their children who attend both the school and the early childhood centre. The centre is well-equipped both in the inside play area and a beautiful playground outside where children enjoy playing and running around on a well padded artificial green grass at ground level. The playground area is securely fenced which includes a backyard for the childrens' garden project.
Twenty government funded-hours weekly in early childhood education are available to all 3 years and four year old children who attend our centre. Parents must make use of these funding by enrolling your children and receive quality edcuation for them at our centre.
We have extended our centre from 25 children to 38 children including under-twos. Enrolement is now open by ringing up the supervisor's contact number : 09 828 6805.
