At St Lukes Kindergarten we are truly privileged to experience the wonder of children every day.  We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment where children can develop as confident and life longer learners. 

St Lukes Kindergarten was established in 1968.  It is a private kindergarten located behind St Lukes Church and Community Centre at 130 Remuera Road, Remuera. 

Children can be enrolled at St Lukes Kindergarten from the age of two years.  We welcome visitors to the kindergarten and encourage you to book a time to come and view the kindergarten environment, meet the teaching team and see the kindergarten in action. 

Teaching practices reflect current theories of learning and development and teachers participate in ongoing professional development to ensure that we deliver a consistently high quality of care and education to achieve the best learning outcomes for our children. We believe children learn and develop best when they experience an environment where they are nurtured, encouraged and ‘listened’ to by teachers who are responsive to the child’s enquiring mind and provoke an interest in the world around them.
