About us

Offers full day and kindergarten sessions in a Christian setting for children two to five years old. Our centre was established prior to 1988 as Glen Eden Baptist Kindergarten and has been a longstanding provider of quality child care in West Auckland. As professional Early Childhood Educators, it is the aim of VisionWest Christian Kindergarten to allow children the opportunity to refine social skills, build healthy self esteem, and to provide academic experiences full of sensory integration allowing for optimal brain development. This is achieved through the implementation of Te Whaariki – the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum and our long-term goals.

VisionWest Kindergarten wants to see Transformed Lives, Healthy Communities. We want to see healthy children, healthy whanau. We value the important role of parents and family/whanau in their child’s learning and development. Family/whanau are welcome to contribute to the programme planning and life of the kindergarten and are welcome in the centre anytime during their child’s session. 

Our Kindy charges a standard hourly rate of $5.80. If your child is three or four years old, they will be entitled to 20 FREE hours through ECE funding (based on government funding). Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) subsidies are also available to any families who qualify. A full fee schedule is available on request.
