Wymondley Early Learning Centre (commonly known as Welc) is an Incorporated Charitable Trust and is one of two preschool services located on the grounds of Wymondley Road School, Otara.
Welc is a Pasifica community-based centre which originally began as a playgroup operating from the school before becoming established as an early childhood centre in 2010 under the Early Childhood Centre Regulations 2008. After 5 years with an initial license of 30 over twos, the centre now caters for 50 children; with 10 under twos’. Our pre-school day runs from 8am through to 4pm from Monday to Friday.
